This is healthy.&lt;br&gt;- some big brand names will definitely be affected&lt;br&gt;- re: stages - there does seem to be a bifurcation.  Definitely new early-stage, small round funds like True Ventures, First Round Capital, Founders&#039; Fund, etc.  It is less costly to build many startups these days.  But also some VC&#039;s trying to be later stage where they perceive they get better value.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks for stopping by.</description>

Thus coming the conclusion that already a bad situation could be made worse due to the economic situation. My other question is that this posts title was a little miss leading, i was expecting more of an insite into the actualy thawing of VC investment. Not the reasons as to why the VC&#039;s ice age started, maybe i am missing the point here but sounds like you have another piece you are going to add to this soon.</description>
